We do not know enough about China, the world's future largest economy. What we think we know are often vastly simplified and even biased. Not only outsiders often misunderstand the bubbles of the Chinese,
even the Chinese do not fully grasp what truly drive their pursue in life.
Unlike countries such as the U.S., and counter intuitively given its civilization goes back thousands' of years, Chinese are still very much in search of who they want to be.
The Institute supports initiatives that
draw an in-depth, comprehensive, and unbiased picture of Chinese, and in the process, help better understanding between Chinese and nonChinese.
